We Were Created to Worship…
But you don’t have to play an instrument or even be a good singer. Worship isn’t just about singing songs. Everything we do can be worship. Enjoying coffee and conversation with a friend. Noticing how the light and shadows play on the sidewalk during an afternoon walk. Taking in the glory of a beautiful sunset. Doing whatever it is you do with excellence. Singing songs on Sunday. It all can be worship. Every breath is a gift, and in gratitude we worship.
Who We Are
That said, there is something special about coming together to experience God corporately through song. To that end, the Sanctuary has fostered a team of worship leaders, musicians, singers, songwriters, artists, and production engineers with the shared goal of creating an environment for people to encounter God.
Vince, our worship pastor, along with Nate Bullis, drummer and Sanctuary board member, have been writing songs inspired by the theology of Relentless Love. To hear some of their music, check out Henrietta Sun on Bandcamp.
We regularly sing some of these songs during our Sunday morning services. If you’re interested in introducing them to your church, contact Vince to ask for a chart.
The Sanctuary Listening Room
As a performing songwriter, Vince is passionate about bringing artists and community together. To that end he started The Sanctuary Listening Room, a faith-neutral space for songwriters to present their music in a close-listening environment. This gives listeners a chance to connect deeply with the songs and the stories behind them. If you’re interested in performing at The Sanctuary Listening Room, use the contact form below.
For information on the next Listening Room concert, check out The Sanctuary Listening Room page on Facebook.
If you sing, play an instrument, write poetry, paint, or do any other form of art, we would love to hear from you and explore where you may fit on our team. Fill out the form below and we will get back to you asap.
